How to Create a POP Email Account in cPanel

This tutorial will guide you through creating POP email accounts for your domain.


Step 1: Log in to cPanel

  • Go to http://yourdomain.com/cpanel.

  • Enter your username and password.


Step 2: Access the Email Accounts Section

✔ Scroll down to the Mail section.
✔ Click on Email Accounts.


Step 3: Create a New Email Account

1️⃣ In the Add a New Email Account section, select your domain from the dropdown (if you have multiple domains).
2️⃣ Enter your desired email username (e.g., info, sales, support).
3️⃣ Create a strong password and confirm it.

  • Use a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
    4️⃣ Set a mailbox quota (either a specific limit or unlimited).
    5️⃣ Click Create Account.


Step 4: Managing Your Email Account

✔ Click Go Back to view your created email account.
✔ You can perform actions like:

  • Change password

  • Update mailbox quota

  • Delete the account

  • Access Webmail

  • Configure an Email Client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird)


Step 5: Repeat as Needed

  • You can create multiple email accounts, depending on your hosting plan.

  • Store your email passwords securely.


Step 6: Log Out Securely

✔ Click Logout (if using a public computer) to protect your account.
